XXX: Return of Xander Cage (2017)

This movie is quite a throwback for the original XXX movie made in 2002 was probably my favorite movie when I was about 7. The new one is much more of the same with crazy over the top action sequences and no shortage of explosions. Filed to the brim with unrealistic bike flips and stunts. The movie is vary hard to take seriously with all the unrealistic stunts but I don”t believe the movie is really meant to be. Its vary much eye candy with the crazy flips and tricks. Vin Diesel’s cheesy macho man dialog fits the role perfectly and his rag tag squad of rebels in there mission to secure “Pandora’s box” Is pretty much there as an excuse to show all the mayhem the movie depicts. A great film to just watch to tune out and watch some crazy action. the CGI looks weird at times with one character in particular always leaping impossibly high. This doesn’t distract to terribly much for it doesn’t seem completely out of place with the rest of the film. I enjoyed seeing Xander Cage back in action after 15 years from the original and it appears not much has changed and i’m patiently awaiting the 4th movie in the series currently in pre-production
