Jacob’s Ladder (1990)

This movie had a goal set out to be a trip right  From the very beginning, your confused and you are unsure of what is real. It starts in a hang out vibe at first until bullets start to fly and from there on out you never knew what to believe what is happening or which one of this life’s that he Hopps back and forth from is the real one.  The movie Is really not for the squeamish either there are many scans with constant loud bone cracking sounds and disturbing visuals. The movie had this huge theme of a total decent into madness he is facing. You start at the top and spend the whole two hours tumbling down the imaginative minds at work. It is confusing as hell through and through. At the end It was all explained and mapped out and kind of pieces everything together for you. But you need to hold out till the end because this movie really resolves the bean spilling. It was a lot to sit through as I found my self almost falling asleep. As I do when it comes to this trip like movies, from lack of real story really. Although I know what they where trying to go for and I guess in that regard it’s a success. But I find it a little lacking in story for the full two hours.
